English Language Arts

ELA provides students with a wide variety of core and elective course offerings that are interesting, fun and challenging. Students can participate in exciting core courses aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Course themes range from Discovery and Survival to Leadership and Society. Students can practice the art of rhetoric and composition in Advanced Placement language and composition courses. High school students can also learn about classic literature through the writings of highly respected historical authors in AP language and literature courses. In all their courses, students work closely with Michigan certified and highly qualified instructors to develop writing skills that are essential for college and workplace writing.

MVS Calendar
