This site contains information to assist mentors, parents and schools in helping students stay on task and have a successful MVS experience. Our mutual goal is student success.

Mentors and their role
Mentors play a critical role in student success. Students taking online courses will learn to become more self-directed in their learning. The guides and information here will assist mentors in that process.

Student Success meetings
Student Success meetings provide general information to parents and educators on helping students achieve success in MVS courses. Please email kowen@mivu.org for information about attending a virtual meeting.

Student contracts
Schools are encouraged to create a contract for students taking online courses. The student contract examples linked below were provided by Lakeview (Battle Creek), Romeo and Williamston high schools.
